I have been an active Scout/Scouter for over 30 years.
Over the years, I progressed through the ranks and leadership positions of a youth and as an adult leader held many positions, including Asst. Scoutmaster (2013 Jamboree Troop), Philmont Crew Advisor, various advisor positions in Santee Lodge, Camp Coker Aquatics Staff for 14 years (seven of them as Aquatics Director), Woodbadge Staff and many other training programs.
Some of my accomplishments include:
As an Eagle Scout, I understand and appreciate all of the opportunities that Scouting has given me over the years. Because of this, I would like to give back to the Scouting family by providing discounts to Scout groups. If you are a Scout leader, please feel free to contact me to discuss the opportunities that I can provide to your Scouts.
As with any Scout trip, all of the normal BSA guidelines need to be adhered to, including, but not limited to:
I keep a great deal of these trainings and certifications current and I will be more than happy to help you and your leaders obtain all necessary training and applying for the appropriate permits.
Always in Service
In addition to providing exciting trips, I am also available to help with rank advancement and merit badge requirements.
As an Aquatics Instructor for 14 years at Camp Coker, I have taught many merit badges and skills. I served as an Aquatics Director for seven of those years and certified many BSA Lifeguards. I am proud to have even been given the humbling opportunity to watch first hand these young men step up to the plate and perform under life threatening conditions.
I am currently certified as an Aquatics Instructor by BSA National Camp School.
As an active leader in the Pee Dee Area Council, I continue to serve these young men and pass on the knowledge and skills that were once passed on to me as a Scout.
