Phoenix Adventures was formed in 2010 by Ashley Fogleman to provide alternative vacations and getaways through fun, exciting and unique outdoor experiences.
It is my goal to personalize trips to meet my guest's desires and needs. To accomplish this, I treat each trip individually and work with you to build the best possible experience. This allows me to create outdoor adventures for any age, skill and knowledge level.
With the hustle and bustle of today's lifestyles, it is not only my goal to provide exciting outdoor experiences, but also to slow down and enjoy the beauty and wonders that our world has to offer.
Everyone knows that a picture is worth a thousand words, well what about several thousands of pictures to describe what I do? Head on over to the gallery to get a taste of what is possible in the world around us!
Scouting played a huge role in developing my outdoor knowledge and experience. Visit this page to learn a little more about my Scouting background and accomplishments.
I frequently get asked why I chose the Phoenix for the company name.
Well, other than the fact that it is a cool mythological bird it also represents the basic premise around what I do.
The Phoenix is a symbol of life or renewal. With everyday life being so busy, hectic and crazy fast, sometimes you just need to slow down, relax and enjoy yourself and your surroundings.
What better place than the great outdoors to get away from it all and refocus and rejuvenate your spirits?
So take a break and let Phoenix Adventures do all the work to bring life to your adventures!
I started Phoenix Adventures not only because I enjoy experiencing the outdoors around us, but because I get great pleasure from sharing that experience with others. Even before I could walk, my family was taking me outside, whether it be camping, hiking or Scouting events. As an Eagle Scout, I understand the value that the Scouting program provides and still strive as a Scout Leader to give back what was given to me over the years. I continue to be an active Scouter in my home council in the Pee Dee Area. I serve by helping troops around the council with their high adventure trips and am highly involved with many training programs such as Outdoor Leader Skills and Woodbadge.
Personally, I enjoy camping of all kinds, hiking, backpacking, canoeing, kayaking, rafting, rock climbing, skiing and mountain biking. There are many more sports out there that I would like to try eventually. :)
