This 50 mile trail is the nation's first under American Rivers' Blue Trail Initiative. Blue trails, the aquatic equivalent to hiking trails, are corridors established to facilitate recreation in and along rivers and other water bodies.
Enjoy an easy paddle down a historic and beautiful stretch of water. Wildlife abounds throughout this area, including: eagles, beavers, otters, herons and many other awesome creatures! After a full day of paddling, relax for the evening as dinner is prepared for you and then settle down for a good night's rest, for the next day will be another full day of exploration!
Harbison State Forest boasts several miles of interconnected trails that are very well maintained.
There are many levels of difficulty great for anyone just starting out or even seasoned hikers.
There is a $5 parking fee per vehicle, but this can be avoided if I provide transportation.
